The OVSI team has applied to the National Ventilator Project call from the government of South Africa. We are now collaborating with two South African companies, Defy and Dennel, who are keen to support the initiative. Over the coming weeks we will be working with our partners in South Africa, to deliver them a design that they can manufacture at scale. This will help South Africa cope with Covid-19 and more broadly strengthen their health system.
