We’re very proud that the technical lead of the OVSI ventilator at the Whittle Lab, Dr Tashiv Ransander, was featured as a Hero of Cambridge at the May Week Mega Event!
Since early April, Prodrive have been working flat out on helping get the OVSI ventilator into production. Whilst more work must be done on that front, their help has been invaluable.
Great progress is being made in getting the OVSI ventilator prepared for mass manufacturing. Plastic injection molding is being used throughout the device to make the sophiticated machine simple and cheap to produce. Here is the V flow metre and its mould. It measures the flow of air and pure oxygen through the device.
